Question:

With a little experience, will Brock Lesnar dominate the HW class in UFC, and could he compete with Fedor?

I think Brock is potentially the most dominate fighter out there. His strength and wrestling background are phenominal, mix that with some experience in a few of the martial arts and he should be extremely dangerous. It all depends on how well his training progresses.

  1. Little experience, he was an NCAA wrestler for four years and almost went undefeated. Plus on his debut fight he was so close to decapitating Mir. While he may need work in some areas, he is still a beast.

  2. Just like sylvia he will be knocked down and destroyed in seconds. Lesner is no Fedor in any way he does have the talent to become like him but thats will take years

  3. God no.  Brock Lesnar?  What makes you think that he "is potentially the most dominant fighter out there?"  What evidence do you have to back this up?  Brock has only fought one fight other than his loss to Mir.  Brock beat a freelance judo guy who holds a current record of 3-6.  For god’s sake people, if you don’t really know anything about MMA, please stop trying to act like you do!  Lesnar just turned 31, so if you give him the usual 3-year learning curve that it usually takes before a fighter becomes “proficient,” that would put him at 34.  From there, he would have about two productive years, maybe three, max.  And by the way, Lesnar doesn’t have “some experience in a few of the martial arts,” as you put it.  In fact, he has no martial arts experience at all, other than the bit that he has gotten recently in his training.  Fedor would kill him.  Noguera wold kill him, and that’s bad.  Sorry a$$ Heath Herring may kick his rear end, even though I think Lesnar has a chance against “The Sorryhorse”  C’mon though, please stop watering down MMA with this garbage.

  4. I am not sure how old Lesnar is but I dont think he is very young.  I would guess low 30's??  I dont think hes young enough to gain the striking skills he would need to be a talent like Fedor.  Fedor might be the greatest MMA fighter ever.  I think Lesnar will end up being good and might even get the UFC heavyweight title someday, but I do not think he will be dominating or will become the fighter Fedor is.

  5. Hello???

He almost got crippled by a guy who recovered from a crippling motor accident.

What makes you think he has a chance against Fedor?

Even Mir will not have much chance against Fedor.

  6. Brock will lose to Herring and fade in obscurity!

He would be mauled by Fedor.......

sorry but Lesnar is BIG and somewhat of an Athlete , but that does'nt make you a Fighter!

  7. I think before Brock gets Fedor, he needs to earn it.

He should get through the ranks like the Sakuraba, Shamrocks, Gracies, Cung Le.  (if they could fight across the weight class).  The Shamrocks would have a field day with him, choosing whether to choke this monster to sleep or break his ankle.  Brock would make them look so good.

Before that he should fight the lesser fighters... like Crocop and Chuck Liddell.  Heck he should get through Tank and Kimbo first.

Before that he should probably enrol in The Ultimate Fighter.

    Sadollah probably could submit him.

  8. brock is too big , he will gas sooner or later

thats always a strategy going in with a big fighter

tire him out , sure hes got a shot at beating fedor ,

it better be in the first round or hes toast.

  9. i agree that brock is a specimen, no doubt...

but he is 1-1, and i hate when people bash mir, mir was in a terrible crash and shouldnt have been fighting anyway, and still beat a physically overpowering brock,

but in general, if the most dominant fighter out there is 1-1, something is wrong with the sport.
