With a sony cybershot w130 is it possible to take long exposure shots???

i would like to take some long exposure shots with my new camera but was wondering if it is actually possible if anyone could tell me how to do it thanks.

Yes, you can. All you need to do is set the camera in the manual mode, then you would need to set the shutter speed to a slower speed to do the long exposure.  Obviously with doing this, you would need to adjust your aperture so the lighting and exposure is correct.

It looks like the shutter speed on that thing only goes up to one second.  That's not even enough for a good fireworks shot!
