J.B. Weld on top of that, then go through with the process of putty and paint ?

Will the epoxy hold? And will the putty stay attached to the layer of J.B.Weld that's been 80 grit sanded?

  1. I have used JB Weld on many items as well as boat items and I would say that if you do it correctly cleaning the surface and really scuffing it up with the 80 grit sandpaper or even using a die grinder it should hold but not on anything like the exhaust, been there.......done that.....
