  1. If one could see all the positive stuff going on and all the negative stuff as well in a large picture, the negative would hardly be visible.  That is why we need news broadcasts to give us a taste of what we don`t want in order to keep us dreaming of how things could get better.

  2. Of course it is!  The world wouldn't seem as beautiful if it was perfect all the time.  All the sham, drudgery, and broken dreams make us more appreciative of the good stuff.  Like- babies, flowers, falling in love, having a fantastic o****m, chocolate sundaes, raising a fantastic child, and laughter

  3. Definitely, positively 'yes' - I am totally non-religious, an atheist but I love this world however it was created.  It is beautiful.

  4. yes it is, it still would be if it wasn't for humans, if you think about it we are the ones causing extinction, and we are the ones taking drugs, our fault!!

  5. not to anyone rational. think about it, we are taught to see life as something great but in reality it sucks. we are brought down by everything. its difficult to trust anyone and people expect us to keep on the happy side. in my opinion, by trying to be better we are becoming dumber as we are being brainwashed into fighting for unimportant matters.

  6. "With all the sham, drudgery, and broken dreams," we sometimes believe that there is no goodness in life. These moments are usually filled with depression and sadness.  Yet in this very sadness, there is hidden beauty.  In this sad person is the beauty of love and sympathy.  Also, when we are feeling down (we all do sometimes), we see all the bad in the world, which actually helps highlight the good if you give it the chance.  Remember: The bad will persistantly and conststantly knock on your door daily if you let it; the good, you have to get out of your house and hunt for.  But you know it will be worth it in the end.

  7. Well Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder And So It All Depends On The Person.

With Me I Have A Loving,,Caring Family And Some Amazing Friends So Yes My World Is Beautiful But If I Didnt Have My Family And Close Friends Then No It Wouldnt Be A Beautiful World And I Would Feel Like As If It Wasnt Worth Living So Im Very Blessed With The People In My Life And Dont See The Outside World. They Are My World!!

  8. nope. its a crappy world. it used to be a beautiful world though! :)

  9. Not really, no.

  10. It is what you make of it.  God bless.

  11. As the saying goes.  "Beauty is to the eyes of beholder."  It is all in the perception and perspective one chooses to see the world in.

Without the ability to see pass the ugly parts, one is truly trapped by his/her own vision and limits.  That's a sad state of existence.

  12. At least no one thinks anymore that the world is THIS bad, so it must be getting better:

"It was believed by ancient and medieval Arabic, Jewish, and Christian thought that the center was the worst part of the universe, the basement, the sump, where all the muck was collected, so being at the center was not worn as a badge of pride. In Divine Comedy, h**l itself is in the inner core of the Earth, which is close to the very center of the universe, consistent with it being considered a foul place. Medieval writers described the location of the Earth as "the excrementary and filthy parts of the lower world" and observed that we humans are "lodged here in the dirt and filth of the world, nailed and riveted to the worst and deadest part of the universe, in the lowest story of the house, and most remote from the heavenly arch."

  13. It depends on who's eyes you're looking through.

But today is a beautiful day, so yes.

  14. "It's a bitter sweet symphony, that's life."  Mick Jagger/Keith Richards.  This is part of human existence I believe, to have happiness as well as sadness in life.  But there is a balance.  If there's too much pain and disappointment it can become too much for us.  Even if there's too many things going well we will seek out new challenges.

But yeah, we need to seek out beauty in life, on a moment by moment basis, because beauty is fleeting.  Moments are fleeting.  This is what keeps us going.

Sometimes we get bit while seeking beauty.  And we can always find something ugly in the world if we try.  It's a choice, to focus on beauty or to focus on ugliness.  Sometimes I think people focus on ulgy because they're trying to protect themselves .  Like if I pay attention to all the ugly thing's then I won't experience disappointment or loss ever again.  Nothing can take me down if I'm never up.  If I focus on bad things I can keep them from happening to me.  I don't deserve to have it good.  I think these kinds of beliefs and attitudes are why people can focus on negative things.  And, once again, it's a lack of acceptance of the irony, the duality, the bittersweetness, of life.

  15. It's the heartbreak in the world that lets us see how truly beautiful the rest of it really is.
