With all of the attacks against Michelle Obama for lack of pride...?

What about America makes you proud? I don't want to hear "liberty" or "freedom," or self-referential answers like "Because America is the best country in the world!" So many people are attacking Michelle, so tell me, prideful Americans: what is it that we're doing in America that makes you so proud? Be specific!

The fact that you can post this question is one reason.   "Freedom of Speech" is not a right for all the peoples of the world.  Count the Nobel Prizes, the discoveries, the vaccines..  I'm not saying is the best country in the world, but there's a lot to be proud of. Oh, by the way, the Internet was invented by the Americans!

Some of us are attempting to change what is so obviously wrong with our country.  My ancestors have been around (in this country) for 400 years, and they were (back then) proud of their accomplishments. Now, I wonder if they would have the same pride in what we've achieved.

That makes me proud.

There are countless stories of people who moved from poverty to financial success in this country.

We have problems...but for those who want success bad enough, they can find it.
