that when discussing this concern with people that those who really have nothing dont so much mind the idea of a little bit of socialism here and there?! I was talking to my good friend and he claims to be conservative but he really doesnt have much... never really had a good job and got laid off his job and now is on some govt program where they pay your schooling for 2 years at a community college (now im not so much against this program because the company left the USA and because of that the govt will give people an unemployement benefit of learning a new trade so thats not what im refering to here) so he can learn a trade, but sometimes he seems to lean to social ideas when "people aint got enough money to do such and such"

I am saying it seems the have nots dont so much mind the idea of a little socialism cause they get a piece of the pie! Well the pie is baked using people's gain like mine!!! I make a little over 50,000 so I get mad when liberals want socialism to be like Europe! so what do you think

have you noticed its the have nots who seem to welcome the lefts ideas of socialism?! Also, my friend likes to deny socialism is socialism when some have nots benefit from the haves like some programs in schools or communities. what is your belief

  1. Just look at it this way: Your share of taxes goes to pay for the war.

Mine, I'd rather see going to public education.  But rather than stress, I just figure you and I balance each other out.

  2. Yes, I agree. Everyone somehow things the government owes them a paycheck, healthcare and education. They think rich people can pay for it. Unfortunately, there aren't enough rich so Obama will come after everyone for the higher taxes. Here is his plan:

    INCOME TAX

    MCCAIN (no changes)

    Single making 30K - tax $4,500

    Single making 50K - tax $12,500

    Single making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 60K- tax $9,000

    Married making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 125K - tax $31,250

    OBAMA

    (reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)

    Single making 30K - tax $8,400

    Single making 50K - tax $14,000

    Single making 75K - tax $23,250

    Married making 60K - tax $16,800

    Married making 75K - tax $21,000

    Married making 125K - tax $38,750

  3. We need to help the people who need it. BUT, if they're able to work, they need to work. Limit the amount of time healthy people can get assistance, require that they get job training or college while we are helping them. After their time is up, probably about two years, if they'rs still too stupid to have at least an associates degree or a certifiable skill, let them starve. What about their children? They'll probably be just as stupid.
