With all the Brett Favre talk don't forget about Chad Pennington

Question

Chad Pennington got cut as about the whole world knows because Brett Favre got traded. Well Chad Pennington is decent and could help out a few teams. Where do you think he'll end up? put 5 teams in order. Here are mine:

5- Carolina- If Delhhome can't respond to his injury Pennington could be a good backup but Pennington may want to start so this is why Carolina is #5

4- Chicago- Orton and Grossman can't lead their team. Orton is okay and Grossman is off and up so they need a more consistent player at QB.

3- Miami- There Offense is great but they need a Quaterback.

2- Baltimore- Joe Flaco is good but if he doesn't live up to his potential and Baltimore needs a QB then he could come here. Same with Atlanta and Matt Ryan but Ryan should be good so Baltimore stays here.

1- Minnesota- Everyone knows why. They need a QB and if they do they will obviously go far.

Have to agree with you all the way.......If I was Chad I would hope to go to Baltimore though. A smart, accurate QB, and a solid defence is a tough combo to beat. With him they should be able to make the playoffs easily.

Chad Pennington is decent but he's not going to be the one to turn a team around, that's for sure.

How will he help Chi-town with consistency?  He's not a consistent player or he'd still be in New York.

I say Miami. He could make the biggest impact there.

Chiefs, he has been coached by Herm Edwards before and they need a QB incase Croyle falls on his face.

Miami, Vikings or Chicago would be the best for him.. Vikings and Chicago just need a QB to be in the playoffs or more...And Miami could use a good qb for their new look and fresh start on rebuilding... Chad is a good qd and could be use anywhere as a starter or number 2...

Minnesota and Miami were said to be possible choices.

Pennington is injury prone and he's not all that good.

I still cannot believe Favre is on the Jets...

YOu make excellent points on why teams would want him, if you look at who he would want to go to it comes down to Minnesota and Carolina because of their talent and Miami because they would pay well and he knows the offense, plus they may only be a quarterback away from being competitive
