Good point and no probably not. Why was China even given the honour to host the Olympics? They're being rewarded for treating their people badly. Whoever decided to let China have these Olympics should have made some kind of deal with them: You host the Olympics but you start respecting and protecting the rights of your people. This could have been used as a bargain tool.
