Question:

With all the questions raised and with all the new ones coming up shouldn't the IOC be investigating?

They keep finding where the girls were registered in other completions and the age is different. Why is the IOC letting the host country get away with this? All this has done is left the world wondering why the host is allowed to cheat. I watched the All Around completion last night the Judges were blatantly cheating. Even the commentators noted it. The other girls were given low scores for mistakes they didn't make while the Chinese where given points when they made major mistakes. It is a miracle the American girls won Gold and Silver. They need to do this and if they are underage strip the Chinese of the medals.

  1. i agree.  i hate to be mean, but we have to be fair, if not, then what is the point of setting ground rules and what kind of message are we sending out letting certain teams get away with certain things?  if you make an exception for one, then everyone should be allowed an exception(s).

and i have a question to pose, are passports considered birth certificates in china?  cuz if NOT....why are we looking at their passports instead of their birth certificates?

and in all honesty, i cannot really recall china really being a big gun in gymnastics, so why now? and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, sweeping?!

and i read that article about the girls on yahoo as well, so if the girls are in fact too young, which, who knows tomorrow the news may say they're 21, you apparently never know,  why is it that they can't just wait till the next olympics?

seriously people, you have to wonder why there's a rush, i mean is it cuz there's a home court advantage?  what is it in that home court advantage? is there more room for manipulation?

people may be upset over my answer, but hey we're all entitled to our opinions are we not?  and if they REALLY had faith in their young gymnasts, they would do well in the next olympics in the next country wherever that may be.

i'm not trying to discredit anyone, but you can SEE a difference in execution between the gymnasts in the womens all-around.  i personally thought the chinese men did well.  now take the chinese men and compare them to the chinese women, you can see the difference.  granted the movements are different, but the EXECUTION of the movements are what i'm trying to point out.

now that you have that picture in your mind, take that and compare the movements between the chinese women and american women.  there's a certain grace that goes along with the execution and i really felt as though i was watching stick figures compete against ribbons.

the stick figures should have been given the opportunity to blossom into ribbons to compete in the next olympics, yes they did good, but they'll more than likely do better in the next olympics when they've been given the opportunity to grow.

and i don't see why people are so quick to call the americans sore losers for bringing this up when they know if it were their team out there, they'd ask the same questions and want some sort of regard to be given to the issue.

  2. I agree. I think the IOC will investigate AFTER the olympics. Fair is Fair and they should be stripped.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/olympics/beijing...

Read that. basically proof their underage. last year they were 13. tell me how they get 2 years older in just a year. not possible. China cheats. But I think the IOC is too busy to investigate. They have liek... 7 or 8 years to strip them.

  3. Do you pay attention at all? Other countries other than China has been caught doping on drugs, but all you people are interested in is China this, China that...I had no idea America has such a high regard for China.

  4. The IOC much like the UN is a joke and blantanly AntiAmerican, if the situation was reversed all h**l would be breaking loose.

  5. I completely agree.  If they are proven to be too young they should have their medals taken away.  It's cheating no matter how you look at it.

  6. They aren't investigating because Americans are sore losers.

  7. I don't think there is a need for the IOC to please the retarded americans.

  8. i've read an article earlier about it and it said that a few possible reasons could be:

    upsetting the host country/embarrassing them

    Money

which i do not believe are very good answers...If the Chinese told the truth they should have nothing to worry about.

  9. They should investigate so it would settle things once and for all. It's not very good for the Olympics and the IOC to have this issue hanging out there.
