  1. I think you are asking something about change in your career.

There are basically two things you can do. First you are MA in sociology which is a good thing because many people do not even study after their bachelors but I think at this point of time you may start your PhD or appear for your UGC NETT. This will give you a strong start in your career as you can pursue your career as a lecturer in college.

Secondly you can start your research on a really good topic which may be interesting and is in demand. Just a suggestion   for research like environmental politics and social ethics in India or Globalisation and social change, e-borders.

Best way will be to write a good article get it published in some magazines or newspaper. May be, you can join some library for research. I think your own bachelor library will be good for research. Believe me, if you are looking in this way there will be no looking back.

Secondly, if you do not want to go for research. Start learning computer. computer web designing or networking is  a best way. IT sector has so much that you may not imagine

But still I would suggest go for first option. No matter how much your score is in MA. If you are good in research then you have many opportunities waiting.  Try UNESCO for internship or IIT college in social science or Tata Institute of social science.

       Best of luck.

  2. Dont do anything where you may be required to type...

  3. I think the jobs in HR and teaching are of flexible timing. You have to decide where you have interest as you said you were working as HR and if you have good experience and interest then do some HR related course like DBM or anything like that would be nice and make your resume good. I would prefer you do SAP in HR as it has high payment which starts from 5.5 to 8 lac pa. As far as teaching is concerned the only option you have is to do a Bed.

  4. Have you considered self-employment? That is combining all your skills you picked up and go on provate consultancy for government and other clients. I have a Masters degree in Social Sciences with a major in Sociology. I have since registered a company that does research and community development in South Africa. You can do likewise.
