With baby gold fish will the baby always end up as the same breed as the fish that laid the egg? or can it end up as the same breed as the male?

  1. I they are different breeds it will be a mix. It will not be a specific breed unless both parents are that breed.


  2. Well it depends if the mother and the father are the same species of goldfish if they aren't then the egg will likely be different. If your trying to determine the gender of the egg it'll likely be impossible until the baby fish turns into an adult and will either spawn or breed.
