  1. No one. They should play with a normal payroll :).

  2. Put most of that payroll towards pitching. Sheets and CC are both free agents after this season. I'd try to get at least one of them.

Not a Yankee fan, but that'd be my opinion.

  3. Definitely CC Sabathia. He is only going to get better. Cleveland had him and let him go. True he was gone at the end of this season anyhow but why not give the team a chance. He was willing to stay for the season. Now they trade Paul Byrd to the Red Socks. If you guys get either one of them you're gettin a deal!   =o`(

  4. CC Sabathia and Mark Texiera.....also trade for Ron Mahay and sign a quality left handed relief pitcher(or keep marte) also keep abreu....you can find where to use him and I DOUBT that Matsui/Damon will stay healthy for the whole year.

  5. They can buy me a New Car!

  6. As a Yankees fan, I want good pitching first and foremost. The offense should be fine. Don't need to make too many tweaks with that. But they have to get another strong starter to go with Joba Chamberlain in case Mussina and Pettitte don't return.

  7. Manny!!

  8. Give it too the marlins please

  9. Pitching enough said

  10. They need pitching so i'd have to say Johan Santana and C.C. Sabaitha.  They would also benefit with Ichiro Suzuki. He has 200 hits every season...great lead off man to finish off that amazing line up.

  11. Daisuke Matsuzaka and i think maybe Clif Lee

  12. i Say C.C Sabathia who i know if the Yankees get him he would be a big help to the Pitching rotation.

  13. CC or Sheets, Teixiera and Manny and some bench help

  14. I'm a Yankee fan and I'd like an ace like C.C. or Sheets

  15. Given their track record of signing stars on the back end of their careers, how about Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Manny Ramirez, Jamie Moyer and Eddie Guardado.

  16. Whoever will win them a World Series trophy.  Players need to earn that paycheck.  It's their job to win.  In a white collar or blue collar job, if you don't do your job, you get fired.  Owners and GM need to have that mentality.  I would literally play baseball for peanuts.  These guys get to do something they love for a living, but it's still a job.

  17. You mean if I were a Yankee fan?

CC, ManRam, and Texeira. I'd like Sheets too but they wouldn't get him probably

  18. Build a team the right way through prospects and a farm system. That's how they won their championships of the previous decade (Yes literally a decade). Look at the Rays what a low payroll their doing it the right way. Although if they have some money to spare you should pick up C.C. Sabathia no question. He can give you a complete game. And if you need a bat. Hopefully the Brewers stop overusing him (they picked him for one year apparently they don't care about the wear on the arm).

Also they should try and find another quality bat (Not Manny Ramirez). Someone younger and there for the long term of the Yankees success
