  1. Something is strange there, I've never seen contacts that only come in an 8.3

I think you are saying that you are trying to order from your prescription , the same brand and size as the Dr. prescribed, but there is no 8.7 there...just 8.3

Are you clicking the little arrow beside the base curve to make it open and show the other sizes ?

It may just be a glitch on the order form ...try calling them if you can't find the 8.7 in the brand prescribed...it has to be there somewhere...

Any brand that comes in an 8.3 will also come in 8.7

  2. It depends on your eye curvature. If your optometrist prescribed 8.7 BC, I would get what they prescribed. Contacts and glasses are what they go to school for

  3. It could dammage your eye. Get the contacts that your doctor prescribed, or you might end up with an injury!

  4. It would pry be blurry and uncomfortable,  Your eyes actually bend to fit the contacts now that we have soft contacts they make them to fit your eyes before soft contacts they were hard and you couldn`t bend them like you can now, and your eye would actually take the shape of the contact.  For example if you wear those contacts you actually have to have them out for at least 2 weeks before you can have any eye surgery ie laser.
