With equal RPM at center, what is the volocity difference at the circumference of a 10" verses 12" wheel??

  1. v = ωr

    v_10/v_12 = (12RPM*10")/(12RPM*12")  = 10/12 = 5/6.

    So the velocity at the rim of the 10" wheel is 5/6 that of the 12" wheel.
