  1. Solar Panel is green! They can absorb photons and generate electricity.I am sure manufactures are working to make them in an eco-friendly way.Solar panels cannot be recycled .However ,it is life is about 100 years!

  2. Most of the early panels were not very green. They were not very efficient and did not have a real long life span. The newer one are getting much better and there are several companies have cropped up that rebuild many different kinds of panels. Some of these newer panels have a life span in excess of 30 years and are much easier to maintain. The biggest problem with solar systems is that they are not kept clean and loose efficiency. If interested in setting up a system for your self, Please be very careful who you have do the work and what system you buy. There are many companies out there that are just trying to make a quick buck at your expense.

  3. are you talking about MJ i think they gots the best up there

  4. No matter how electricity is generated you must use materials to build the plant. I don't know what my panels are made out of, and I don't know if they can be recycled. I also don't know what my other electric plant was made of or if it can be recycled. I do know now that it has been made and installed I'm not using coal or oil to make electricity, I'm not creating any emissions, and I won't have to worry about how high the cost of electricity goes.

  5. there may be some truth in this article.

as for recyclying solar panels, it basically involves recycling used silicons cell aka solar cells. still a budding idea but big companies are looking into these sort of activities as it yields high cost effectiveness of the solar panel product, thus consumers could enjoy more affordable solar panels.
