  1. The company that makes the club for car and trucks. they also make club locks for bicycle

  2. A Krytonite NY chain is the absolute best lock. Or a U-lock with a cable to wrap up your front wheel.

  3. one thats like a bendy coil works best.

  4. The best lock would be to actually take in indoors when you get to work IF that is at all possible.

There was a time I rode a bike 7-10 miles to work each day but that was on country roads in England. 60 miles in all honesty is just too far to commute each day by bicycle. It'll keep you fit but it just takes too much of your time, what 25 hours a week for 40 at work and bad weather besides. No way! In fact I wouldn't even consider a hybrid car for that distance.

Consider a small (200cc) motorcycle instead.

  5. "Bendy coils" can get cut in 30 seconds. Widely considered the safest locks are U-Locks made by Kryptonite. Their website ranks the products against a rating scale to suit the amount of security you need. It also provides tips on how to keep your bike safe.
