With gas prices this high...how much you spending a week?

What kind of car do you drive...and how much money do you spend on gas?

I drive a Scion TC and spend just over $100.- per week my drive is about 35 minutes each way to work...

My drive is 20 miles roundrip that includes daycare for my son and I cut work down to 4 days a week.

EDIT:  KL ---wow.  you are so special.  thank you for saving the world.***eyes roll****  ever stop to think maybe some of us live in cities that don't have subways?  My place of employment is outside city limits so I cannot use public transportation.  Believe me I would LOVE to use it.  Save on gas, insurance, car up keep, etc.  Get off your high horse  and just answer the d@mn question.

I drive a Kia Sorrento, I spend between $100.00- $150.00, but I own a business, so I drive a lot around town. Not great on gas that way!

I'm a college student, so an SUV was wonderful considering I was constantly moving around and packing my car to go back and forth.

With gas at $4.09 where I live, it's not longer wonderful.

I drive a 2003 Pathfinder and to fill my tank costs about $70 dollars.

It lasts about a week. It's dreadful.

Toyota Matrix XR, filling up costs me about 62 bucks right now and I need to fill up every 1.5 weeks.

Mad props 2 KL, I ride the local bus system(free) and ride my KHS mountain bike whenever I can. As a result my out of pocket transportation costs are nil, and my carbon footprint is negligible.

I don't use gas or oil for transportation.  I pay $80 a month for an unlimited subway pass in NYC and use my bike on nice days.  :)  I'm preserving (or at least not destroying) the earth...maybe you should try it.

I drive a Toyota Corolla, and fill up about every 10 days,  costs about $45

to fill up my gas tank it is about $70.00. it is ridiculous how bad things have gotten. i heard that gas is suppose to be up tp 6:50 by the end of the year

I have a round trip of 68 miles and I spend around a hundred a week I was driving a 97 cadillac before that I was in the 200 dollar range a week. about 25 a day in that car this car is about 15 a day

I have a Mazda Tribute.... great gas mileage (gets about 30 on the highway) I spend about $50 every 2 weeks (depends on when i have to leave town) I ride my bike to work everyday.... good thing i live in a small town

for work i spend about $40 per week,thats for me 7:30am to 5:30pm & my s.o. 10:00 pm to 7:00am both! i have a gmc sierra v8 but we live like 3 miles from our work places!we are very fortinate to live that close to our work!

I drive a sweet RT Dodge Charger  with a Hemi.  It sure is a bute but dam!!!  It is a hog!  I also have a 40 mile commute.  A whole tank in one week plus an extra quarter tank.  

I know I should have bought something much more efficient.  But I couldn't help it it was lookin all tight in black.  I now have buyers remorse big time.  $95.00 to a $100.00  a week. =(

That is 80mile commute round trip.
