  1. I say the year never.

  2. First, find out how many years ago Asbury Park was last under water.  Then divide that number of years by the number of SUV's on the road today and multiply by the number of SUV's the dinosaurs were driving when it was last flooded.  This should give you an answer at least as accurate as anything else you'll find.

  3. No one knows, because of "feedback mechanisms".  They work like this:

Global warming warms the oceans.  The warm water necessarily has to release CO2.  That makes the warming worse.  That's "positive feedback".

The warmer Earth has more clouds which shield the sun, reducing warming.  That's "negative feedback".

The question is which will win?  There's nowhere near enough data to say.  Most scientists guess positive feedbacks will win, but it's just an educated guess.

Depending on which wins global warming could be slowed or speeded up.

The IPCC report is a conservative document and everything in it is backed by solid data.  It (admittedly) simply ignored feedback.  Gore's movie assumes positive feedback, which is why it differs from the IPCC.

  4. Ok I'm not from the area so I can only talk in general. Asbury park is about 21 feet above sea level according to the link I found. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates that sea levels with rise between 11 cm and 77 cm over the next 100 years, and there isn't any estimate beyond that, so I wouldn't worry about that particular park anytime in the near future.
