  1. NOT to trust the current Mayor.  He was completely incompetent and messed up BIG TIME.  Yet, the people re-elected him.  DUH!  What's wrong with this picture?  Over 1500 people lost their lives because the evacuation and rescue efforts were unorganized and slow.  I live here and I have seen it first hand.  I hope that if Gustav hits, they apply whatever lessons they SAY they have learned, and actually help this time.
