  1. You can't take it off for bid. But you could go in and bid on your own item at the price that you want it to go for, that could raise the bidding price!

    Good luck!

  2. You can cancel the bid and when ebay asks you why you did that? You can say that the item was damaged and is no longer worth selling. Just don't do this too often as ebay will eventually catch on...

But doing it once is just fine.

  3. even if you can, you shouldn't. it is wrong and unfair. if your item is that important to you, have your mom bid on it and then reimburse her.

  4. ummm 10 weeks

  5. It is 12 hours, but I have an idea that is sort of wrong, but works. Once a friend of my mother's did that so he had her bid an outrageous price because it was already bid on and he meant to put like a 100 min reserve(which was within absolute reason for the item) and it did like a dollar reserve. So they did that and they just worked it out so that payment was considered sent or whatever. I think it is against the rules but when you are desperate it works and I don't think they can figure who does what. Another thing is if you have a friend that owes you money or is by you, have them create an account and set it up so that the payment goes through and you can just pay them back or keep the money. Hope this helps. :-)

    here is what ebay says:

If you cannot complete your listing as planned, you can end your listing before the scheduled date. If there are bids on your item, you can cancel them.

Reasons for ending listings early include:

        *

The item is no longer available for sale.

        *

There was an error in the starting price or reserve amount.

        *

There was an error in the listing.

        *

The item was lost or broken.

Note: Your account will still be charged listing fees (such as the Insertion Fee) if you end your listing early. Consider revising your listing first if there are aspects of it you want to change or improve.

    Timing Matters

When there are 12 hours or less remaining and the item has a winning bid, including a reserve met bid, sellers cannot make any changes to the listing, including:

        *

Ending the item early. Sellers may cancel bids, but not end the item unless the item is being sold to the high bidder.

        *

Adding to or changing the item description.

Note: Canceling bids or making changes to a listing with bids when there are 12 hours or less remaining, can damage the buyer experience and can undermine trust in the marketplace.

so if you are willing to lose experience you can do it afterward but I would end it right now if u need to or get a friends help.

By the way, if you need help with posting on Ebay I can help, my mom used to be a powerseller on Ebay until she ran out of stock :P and I would suggest really reading everything on the getting started with selling because there are little mistakes you can make that cause a huge toll. Hope everything works out for you ^_^

  7. No you can not.

Well, you could, but the buyer will get you with a NPS (Non preforming seller). And hit you with a negative. You always have an option for a reserve, and even if you didn't, you should have started the bid at a higher price.

If you started the bid @ .99 cents and it sold for $2.00, it's not the buyers problem, it's yours.

Never sell anything with a price you're not willing to sell it for. It's your problem, not the buyers.

This is the reason sellers can't leave negatives anymore.

People selling when they have no idea how to do so!
