With male budgies does it matter what age you start breeding or is just females?

mine started at 12mths maybe a bit older but is it just females should not breed to early

    Your budgies should be at least 12 months old to start to breed.

  2. I think all pet birds should'nt breed early, because if they breed too early there might be a chance that the babies are deformed or arent healthy. Also if the bird is young and gets babies it might not be mature enough to take care of the babbies.Also if you only have male birds that lay eggs, the egg wont be fertile without a female.
