With my height at 166cm can i ride a R6 and R1?

Question

I am a short guy. Have a height of about 166 to 167 cm. I WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR A CLOUD CROPPED UP IN MY MIND. I have a real corner for the R6 and R1. I would love to know that would my height help me in riding these bikes without being tip toed for support to the ground. With my height will i be able to ride these bikes with atleast manageable ground support. Pls help me out

Its hard to say exactly. Im 5'-7" and I ride a 2006 GSX-R 600. Its not bad but if it were any taller or if I were any shorter it may make it tough. You might be ok, but the best way to know is find someone that owns one or a dealer and sit on it.

get an r6 and get it lowered

a yamaha r1 and an r6 are totally different bikes you may like the look of them but you need to bear in mind the engine size the r6 is just a 600 so it is not as powerful as the r1 which has a capicity of 1000cc
