With no race on Sunday, did any of you Nascar fans catch the F1 race on Fox Sunday afternoon?

It was a great race- on track passing which I know you guys like, threat of rain and yes they keep going in the rain, interesting strategy, surprise contenders, etc. Hamilton (who I don't like) passes several cars under green in the final laps to win! By the way, I love F1 and Nascar.

  1. nope i played golf just because there was no race

  2. Yes I did watch it live. I usually tevo it and watch it later. Massa is my fav since Micheal retired. F1 is the tops in auto racing and it was exciting to watch even if Lewis won. DANG IT!

It is no wonder JPM and others from that series have a tough time in these big ole heavy stock? cars. There is no comparison. And in F1 if you bump you loose to, usually. Massa gave into Lewis this weekend because it is better to finish then take you both out. Unlike Hamiltons move a few weeks ago in the pits. I would have loved to see what Massa would have done had he had fenders! Oh wait. I see that all the time when there is a sprint cup race....

And you are right IRL is no match for F1 either. Would be like putting your lawnboy up against a sprint car.

  3. no. i just haven't been able to get myself into F1. even tho i have actually tried.

i watched the IRL race on sunday.

  4. F1 had some passing??   WOW  i guess i missed a good race(also likes f1)

i watched the OPEN ..Le Toure De France.... and INdy race

  5. Naw I watched the Camel races on the Arab channel.. was pretty intense.. # 88 Abduhlla Engdart broke  his winless drought on a brand new two humper.. he bout lost it in the backstretch

  6. I respect that you like both but I did not watch it.

  7. no

  8. No, but after looking and seeing how many members the IRL section has I can see why you attempted to get an answer here. There's only about 10 people over there.

    Sorry Didn't see it.

Well I'm sorry. I was just trying to be nice...!!!

  9. nope but the highlights looked like it was a good race.  I did catch the nationwide saturday night though.  Cool to see Edwards win at home.

  10. I watched both the F1 race and the IRL race, but next Sunday I'll have the Brickyard on the tube.

  11. I heard someone once passed someone during an F1 race once.  I think it was in the 1960's.  Not sure it has happened again since that time.....  I'll put an F1 race on TV if I really want to take a nap because those things will put you right to sleep...

  12. No, I did tune in breifly to the IRL race, just long enough to see Danica's position, then turned the channel.

Nascar has too much of it's own "follow the leader" racing right now, I have no desire to watch it in other series as well.

  13. I watched two seconds of it when I stopped and decided I had better things to do.
