would you want your name on a Memorial? I wouldn't, I'd be happy being remembered by my loved ones

  1. oh god it reminds me of Every 15 Minutes. It's about how every 15 minutes someone dies in a drunk-driving car crash, and our community simulated that a group of students that everyone knows died in car. I didn't know them well but we had a "funeral" and I was balling my eyes out.

Anyways...I hope our school does a moment of silence just out of respect. I was in the third grade when it happened and never really heard about it until 4th grade, so I never really understood it until I was older.

  2. A Memorial is not for the deceased, but for the living. Seeing a Memorial is meant to comfort the living.

Besides, with your name in stone, you will be not easily forgotten. People may not know much about you, but they will know you existed and what happened to you.

  3. Well said,  "Headtate..."
