  1. Smoking is banned in all the airports once you have passed security...

  2. definitely a no, anywhere once you go inside the terminal.

have you tried nicorette inhalers,  my mate uses these every time he goes, use them on the plane also

  3. I don't think there is.

Once you're in there you can't even get out to smoke until you land in the country you're flying to.

    It's pathetic I hate it!

When you gotta smoke, you gotta smoke!

  4. No, its a public place.

  5. Your best bet is not to go through passport control straight away after checking your luggage in. That way you can go to the 'arrivals' at the front of the airport and have a smoke there. Don't leave it too long though before going through p/port control otherwise you'll miss your flight.

  6. no

give up, you sound like you're a die-hard addict.

  7. no, theres a smoking area before you check in but after that you cant smoke! well, unless you check in and go back to the front but when u pass security thats it

  8. You have answered your own question.

Smoking is ILLEGAL in ANY enclosed public place in the United Kingdom.

Since the definition of enclosed is having a roof and at least three sides, it follows any specific area set aside for smokers will need to be outside.

  9. nope dont think so

  10. I very much doubt it.

there is apparently but i find that quite surprising

  11. No.  I was actually just there.

I had just made it through customs and then thought to myself, 'gee, I really need to smoke right now.'  I franticaly started to power-walk around the airport looking for such place.  I almost got some employees to let me outside to where they just got finished smoking---no such luck.

I ended up just getting a coffee, and asked the girl working if she knew of a place to smoke; she said there wasn't.

I remember when I was a kid that airports had smoking rooms.  I suppose some of them still do, but the ones I have been to lately have not.

Basically, just smoke a cig or two before you go in; that's about the only option I can think of.
