With summer winding down, what are some quick ways to get back on track?

In summer, I fall asleep late. I want to fall asleep early, but I can't for some reason. This summer I've been waking up later, which is pretty unusual for me.

What are the the best, easiest ways to get back on schedule with sleeping somewhat early (as in some time around midnight, at latest) and getting back up at 6 without being a zombie during the day?

  1. Always try to wake up at the same time, and go to bed whenever you feel tired, whether you get 5 hours of sleep or 10 hours of sleep.
