  1. In all cases like this the parents had a part to play.

    I would go further.

Add the McCanns and Jamie Bulger's mother to the list.

I know its politically incorrect to bring these two up but its true.

McCanns - Left their child alone while they went and drank and could only see the top of the apartment, not even the access ways for the apartment in which any tom, d**k or harry could have entered unnoticed. Add to the fact that the doors were unlocked enough said.

Jamie Bulgers mother - Went shopping with a friend. 2 adults. Just 1, two year old child to look after. and somehow the child managed to disappear, befriend two other kids and be taken on a walk for miles. What they h**l were these 2 adults doing? Her friends last sighting of Jamie 'I saw him playing with a *** butt at the door' - charming ........so didnt think to bother to wander over and stop him playing with it then did you?

  2. Add the McCanns to your list, now they really did Neglect their Children.

  3. As opposed to fully responsible, as in the Mcc case.

  4. Partly I think. The 9 year old was with a school swimming class, so she should have had some supervision. With Goa, the mother knew exactly what she was doing. How could a mother with 9 kids afford to go in the first place to an area of disrepute, the daughter was out of school and left in the care of a Tour rep whilst she went to a different resort. Wait until the dust settles a bit then all sorts of "character witnesses" will come out of the woodwork, then you will hear a different story. We need to ask in all of these cases, where there are negligent parents and other children are still in their care, is it a child protection issue? regardless of sink estate or upper class people.

  5. Its great that this little girl has been found safe/well but this whole situation seem very suspect for me. its awful to think but has anyone thought that this could be an "elaborate scam" by some family members of this girl in order to cash in ? (reward/ paper stories/ publicity etc) Perhaps came to an early end by the honesty of those neighbours who heard footsteps? I dont believe she was ever in any danger at all. I mean if she walked around the flat why did she not go to a window and scream for help or simply stand there I mean EVERYONE in that area (UK) knows what she looks like? Something is NOT right with this I believe, maybe Im wrong, I hope for the sake of a public outcry and a inhuman crime against the people who spent so much time involed in this bizzare case.

  6. I really do, I agree with what you say. They should both be charged with neglect.

  7. It would seem so, a very odd couple of parents.

  8. I don't usually get involved in these debates, because I'm reluctant to seem to be passing judgement on the lifestyles of others. In the case of the dead 15 year old in Goa, I have read the published extracts from her diary, and there is something depressing about the life of s*x, drink and drugs lived by one so young, seemingly with no thoughts of the consequences.

  9. Yes more than partly.
