With the Rockies recent hot streak in the extremely weak NL West, is Matt Holliday going anywhere?

I didn't think he was going to be traded with how the entire NL West was there for the taking. Colorado has been hot lately though, so does this rule out any chance of Holliday getting traded by the deadline.

  1. No, they will not trade Holliday because as you said they are hot. The NL West is so weak right now that any team has a chance to win the division. Holliday is going to lead this team. So no he is not going anywhere, because he is too valuable.

  2. hes not going anywhere, but its not because he may be hot right now, cus that would be more likely to get him traded. when players are playing well theyre worth more, so the team gets a better offer and the trade happens. i dont think he'll be traded tho.

  3. I really don't think Matt Holliday's gonna be traded before the deadline...

the rockies need him if they want to make a run so most likely he'll be traded during the off-season....

  4. colorado will have to assess where it wants to go and whether they have a realistic chance to make a run at post season play. They also have to weigh whether they will have a chance to advance beyond the first round if they do win the NL west. Only they know the answers but my guess is he stays, unless someone makes them an offer they can't refuse.

  5. No, he won't be traded.

I do, however, they put his name out there to see if anyone would make them an offer they couldn't refuse, and when they didn't get it, they decided to keep him.

  6. Matt Holliday isnt goin anywhere and I think the Rockies will win the West
