  1. i was like don't pick best answer yet! i reached my limit this morning (i think i stretched myself too much over the multiple soccer, bball, and this sections). anyways and then when i was ready to submit, the stupid browser cleared my response...so i lost all my links. ugh (i cleared away my history to i have to refind them). i really dislike yahoo. anyways so since the question is still open i can submit my answer and find all my links again. thanks for the trivia copas! (after sleep). also laying low way to submit you response at 2:30+ eastern.

    1. Yes. "After the NHL left CBS in 1972, the network would only air one other NHL game. That would take place on Saturday, May 24, 1980, with Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Islanders. The game was won in overtime by the host Islanders, who captured their first of their four consecutive Stanley Cups."

    2. Omg. I hate being blind. I read this question like which Nhl players from the American south "south american" lol have their names inscribed on the Stanley cup. Drinking cold water wakes you right up...you don't want to know how long it took me to actually understand that question. It was right in my face, and I've been on the hhof site but I'm so tired cause I've been up since 12 am yesterday cause I was so excited about the champions league final. ugh. (jibberish before i got some sleep...plus i was watching lakers game last night so my head wasn't into answering).

anyways haha Rick Chartreaw. “Rick Chartraw will always have the distinction of having been the first Venezuelan-born native to play in the National Hockey League. And, as of now, he remains the only one.”

I’m glad the nhl is doing all it can to encourage diversity in their game… … … … …”o”
