  1. Even great wide receivers need a competent quarterback to get them the ball.  Last time I checked, the Niners don't have one.

  2. he's fast but he needs to work on his separation skills, the one rookie to watch is Josh Morgan, this guy is going to be phenomonal!!!

  3. Too bad he can't throw the ball to himself.

  4. No they have no QB and No defense

  5. if frank gore is healthy they will be.

  6. Only for the garbage of the NFL.

  7. Well the niners have alot more issues than just a stud wr, boldin is a good start but with one of the worst run stopping defense in the league as well as a very anemic offense. Gore has been plauged by injuries and the schedule they have this year is just merciless schedule. Nolans coaching term has been a failure and its time for him to go, they need a game controlling quarterback and alex smith doesnt seem to be an answer the seahawks are winning that division.

  8. No, because JT OSullivan sucks.

Alex Smith could be great, but theyve had 79 coordinators in his 4 years.  Give the kid a break and let him learn ONE offense!

Their DEF is pretty sweet this year though...

  9. When did he get traded?

What am I missing here.  Boldin has not been traded, yet everyone but myself and one other person answered the question as if he had.

Is it simply a 'what if' question.

  10. One could wish so much; sadly, Boldin isn't going to be the end all cure all.

Offense needs to come up with a strength to capitalize on: whether it's a pass/catch duo or a running game.

  11. yes they will be but they need an addition of a new QB alex smith wont be able to do it on his own, but now they have Boldin and Gore on the same team... if they can fix up their 4-3-2 defense and can change into a more passing team then yes they would be a threat in the NFC

  12. Boldin is still with Arizona as far as I know. I don't see anywhere that he was traded to SF. Even if he did get traded to SF they will not be a contender.
