Cuellar was supposed to be the best defender in Scotland.

Yet he's only good for mid-tablelism.

The old firm probably have 4 of 5 players each that are good enough for top end-mid table teams. The rest would struggle in The Championship.

Anyhoo we have had a few over the years, but they have departed or retired.

What is good though about not having the buckets of cash, is the development of home grown talent; and when you consider the fight that Sir Trev of Boleyn Ground had in getting £30m (is that right?) for an F.A. academy, the future looks rosier up here.

So there you go, what the Lord has provided you in Murdoch's cash, the Lord has seen fit to bless us with natural talent.

well as a Scotsman I can tell you that there are not even ten class players of any kind in the SPL.The good ones all bu*gger off and leave to go where there is some real potential, competition and money. Hardly a challenge on a footballing basis playing in Scotland, lets be honest about it.

That's impossible because there aren't any. Cuellar was their star man in 2007/08 and now he's become 'just another player' at a mid-table club in England. They big up Boruc just as they did Gordon...and look what's happened to Gordon. Failing to make any sort of impression at a struggling relegation candidate.

I very much doubt anyone with half a brain has said how bad the EPL is and how good the SPL is, as we know the EPL is a better league, although nowhere near as good as you's like to think!!

nop..but it is the foreigners who hold your league together.the fact is that your national team is full of prima Donna's and will not qualify for any of the major tournaments.

take the champions league final how many englishmen took part in the final....and when was the last time an english manager won anything or even your epl ....when the money run`s out english football will dissappear....
