  1. ok i think if you receive a reprimand is ineligibility...........unless you fight the saction and have a non guilty plea!

  2. I think if they are found guilty they are ineligible. I don't think it has anything to do with points, just guilty or not guilty. So I think Mitchell was found guilty and is now ineligible.

    EDIT - wikipedia

Since 2005, the criterion for ineligibility is to have 100 base points levied by the Tribunal for an infraction in the season. This means that it is now possible for a player to be suspended, but still win the Brownlow. As an example, a player carries 93.75 points from a reprimand from the previous season, and commits an infraction worth 75 base points – this brings his tally to 168.75, which is enough for a one-week suspension, even with an early plea. Despite the suspension, this player would still be eligible for the prize. Similarly, a player can be ineligible, despite not having been suspended. This most commonly happens when a player is levied 125 base points, but it is reduced to 93.75 with an early plea – sufficiently low to avoid a suspension. This new system is slightly more confusing and slightly controversial, but also slightly fairer, since a bad tribunal record from previous years will not affect a player's chances of being the fairest and best in a single year.

  3. If you are found guilty in a tribunal case you are ineligible (Although I belive you can take a suspension instead and still be eligible, Sam Mitchell had the choice to do this but chose to play and become ineligible).

  4. reported and lose time playing

you can still win if you have not lost time but lost points

  5. I think that you are ineligible if you become suspended or if you plead guilty to a charge from the match review committee.

I think that in Mitchells case, he pleaded guilty to the charge and was reprimanded, but he did not recieve a suspension. Therefore he is ineligible because of his guilty plea.

  6. If u are reported and found guilty (either suspended or recremand) u will not be elighible for the brownlow but otherwise it doesnt matter

  7. if you get reported you can't win it.

  8. Put it this way.   If the cut off is 100 points,   then Adam Goodes will finish on 99 and still be eligible.

  9. Do what Mitchell did....

  10. As long as you plead guilty or are found guilty of a charge, you are ineligible. A reprimand does not rule you out unless you plead guilty to get the charge downgraded.

  11. i think if you get suspended you can't win

  12. basically, if you are reported, and, in turn, found guilty and receive a suspension.......then you cant get the medal.

you can still, however, receive points over the whole season, but even if you end up on top of the brownlow tally, if you've been suspended, then its no dice.
