With the credit crunch are you tradesmen finding work hard to get?

On the Gold Coast here and we haven't noticed anything like a drop in work according to the books. The only drop we saw was a fortnight around the election, which was understandable.

As far as the credit crunch, it seems to have cut out a percentile of people who might have just been able to afford to get work done, but are now too strapped to spend money on renovations or construction. For everybody above that imaginary line it's business as usual, so the credit crunch seems to have only hurt people on or close to the breadline.

Plenty of work here if you are in the building industry especially in Western Australia.   Also loads of work in the mining industry, again in WA.
