  1. no because pretty much everywhere else in the world the prices are at the realistic 8 bucks a gallon, we have had it so lucky for so long with price control.

    and then their are oil producing countries with ridiculously cheap prices, especially venezula since they won't sell their oil.

I am pretty sure that the price of gas has gone up in most parts of the world except those places were oil is abundant  such as most parts of the middle east, Venezuela and other parts of the world.  What we probably need is an old fashion strike or boycott were we we all refrain from buying gas for a day or two. The only thing these oil people understand is money.

  3. Of course. It's $8 a gallon in the UK and $5 in Australia. Think yourselves very, very lucky that you don't have the levels of tax other countries do. But your prices will certainly go higher - they're rising as we speak - along with everyone else's.

    As for Venezuela, the per capita income there is $12,800, as opposed to $46,000 in the US.

  4. The last I heard it was @ .12 or .13 cents a gallon in Venezuela.
