If you take the time to think about it;

with the mindless wars,over priced gas (which does make life much more expensive for us all) greenhouse gases that are causing global warming and/or polluting our air, new strains of super "bugs", the easy and open underground market of drugs and guns, war due to religion and race, and the never ending human greed on top of that.

Can we as human beings really expect our little blue planet to "support our feet?" we literally live on top of our own garbage.

Are green products and Bio-fuels being put into our stubborn society fast enough to save us all from our own demise?

Do our young children or our children's children have that great of a future when we already can't walk the streets without stepping on our waste or over the homeless?

Would it be too hard for today's young adults to ever own their first house, and heat it, pay for bills with high gas prices and power rates?

Is it too late to start to turn our world around?

  1. Don't worry, we are human, super-intelligent species of earth. We will invent something to replace oil sooner or later, and just improve our world. With America as a superpower, democracy will stay strong and control the world. As a results, the cultures will mix, and there will gradually be no more oppression, no more wars, and no more troubles. In the next 100 years, we will probably build a territory in outer space, cure cancer, eliminate things that are not environmentally friendly, etc etc etc. Globalism will occur, and we will learn about everything- how the Universe came to be, whether there is a god or not, and other secrets of the Universe.

  2. No it's not too late. Or it may be. But children is our heart's yearning for immortality so mother nature and our psyche are going to keep us having children. Plus, we dont' know what God has in store for us. Ultimately we just have to trust God.

  3. Yeah I think they will, but I hate to be pessimistic, they won't know the same quality of life that we know today.  It's too late to turn it around.  If it does turn around it will take a cataclysmic event, like a meteor hit that wipes out, say 40% of the entire population.  The humans will see how stupid all of the bickering and fighting are and pull together.  Even then there's no guarantee that humans will do it.  I'm a survivor of Katrina and I saw the best and worst of humanity.  Truthfully even in a cataclysmic event, I think the fear which rules humans will continue to destroy them.
