With winter right around the corner....?

how does everyone stay warm? If your somewhere it doesnt get too terribly cold what is your lowest temperature in the winter??

We don't get snow that much in Missouri, but we have a heater and i just wear hoddies and cute furry boots when i go outside :)

I love to cuddle in a warm fluffy blanket...in front of a fire....with hot chocolate....a great mate....and comedy : )

BTW the way to stay warm is what makes me glad we get a cold winter!

probably won't get any colder than 39 here in the Tampa florida area and that'll be the coldest...may not get below 45 this year...its been in the 20's some years but of course we dont have days or months like that....  I like the 60's in the winter, chilly, but not bad.. plus FL in winter is beautiful, blue sky, cool air...

I live in Vermont, so its really cold and there is lots of snow. we have a heater, and if you cant afford the oil like most of us. just get a space heater. they are great! or you could try baking something yummy and when your done leave your oven open. you could also try staying under some blankets, or cuddling someone you love! make sure you dress warm, and take warm showers. good luck :)

good question, in houston lows around 30,s night time,

its rare, but occasionally we get a cold winter.sweaters

It can get pretty nippy in Kentucky.

But it's nothing compared to where I used to live (Vermont). When I lived up there, a 10 degree day would be considered "nice". The coldest I remember it getting was around -35 degrees. Most winters, I'd wear three shirts & a heavy coat with jeans and boots. Lots of hot showers were good, too!

In KY, I just wear a coat & boots if it gets too cold.

i just wear warm clothes when im going outside and a nice jacket...and stay inside in the heat most of the time =p

i live in north carolina so it dosent get as cold as some places...we only get snow once or twice a year usually and only a few inches...lowest is probably 10 degrees but thats not too often, avg in winter is around 40-50 degrees during the day and around 35 at night

I have a twin size electric blanket on my computer chair, where I watch TV, and bigger one on my bed.  That way I can keep the heat turned down lower.   I also have a knit hat I wear while on the computer, and an additional flannel thermal shirt.   Or wear a hoodie.

I hate to be cold.    

The lowest it gets here is about zero F in January.

Well I live in Texas and winters here range from as hot as 90 degrees to as cold as 25. Hahaha. The weather here is totally bi-polar. o.0

And I keep warm by turning on the heater in the house (it's really strong, sometimes I have to go outside to cool off) and wearing jackets and layers outside.

i remember like 6 years ago on the cape it got to about 0 degrees or -5 degrees. it was absolutely freezing. i remember spitting on the ground and a maybe 45 or 60 seconds later it was like this little piece of ice on the sidewalk, but i just take hot showers and crank that thermostat up

I dont get that cold that easily because if it snows, i'll be snowboarding.

So... i'm used to the cold.

Sometimes it gets very cold here so the best idea is a fire if you have a fireplace or some blankets.

Also invest in some allover underwear stuff.

THEY ARE VERY WARM!!!
