Instead of getting blisters can you foot just be really painful and aching, but not rubbing?

Painful around the top of the boot and in the arch? I'v only used my boots 3 times, but theyre nearly broken in I think because this pain is going away.

Or is this just the start?

  1. yes i have that too :) i just got new boots and ive found i havent gotten any blisters yet (have had them for only one week tho..), but because theyre not fully broken in yet they do put a lot more pressure on my ankles - aches! :P it should ease up as you break them in tho..

  2. You're not supposed to tie the front part of the boots super tight. The only tight part should be around your ankles and up. Your arch will hurt less after this.. :D

  3. yes. the pain from the hard leather is causing your legs to strain in places where they are weaker like in your foot. thats why they hurt.

  4. my boots used to absolutely KILL my feet when i first broke them in, but i had foot problems allready. were your boots fitted for you? or did you just buy them? its always important to make sure your boots are the right size and weight for you. id talk to a podiatrist if it keeps hurting, but id say if the pain is getting better, then they're probably nearly tehre. good luck! and talk to your coach if youve got any other questions.
