  1. The Best is probably the KC A's out of oakland since they had good team when they were Phillie A's  but sucked in KC, and then became a good team again in Oakland also St Louis Browns to Baltimore, i never even knew they started out in St Louis, they must of been bad before they became the O's, and you cant really count the Jets and Giants heading to Jersey, its still the same market. Otherwise, most of them arent that good, i mean the Giants and Dodgers leaving was bad, the NFL leaving LA was bad (even though LA dont give a **** about football) and the Colts and Browns leaving baltimore and cleveland, those were all bad ones

  2. Probably very few would talk about this one, but.....

I would say Washington Senators to the Minnesota Twins.  That is almost 50 years now.  I believe that was 1960.

The Twins became a great team going to the World Series in 1965, 1967, and then winning the Series in 1987 and 1991.  They are now a perennial contender in the playoffs this past decade using young players.  They have had some classic players as well with Killebrew, Oliva, Carew, Puckett, Hrbek, Jack Morris, Blyleven, Aguilera, Santana,    and great managers like Tom Kelly and Ron Gardenhire.

I think they have become a great team, and a team that has a whole different philosophy about playing the game.
