Malaga fielder, Jeremy Toulalan, has stated that the club would not have existed without the involvement of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Pellegrini.
Pellegrini was the unifying force in the club when they were facing the financial problems that caused the player exodus from the Rosaleda.
Fortunately the Andalusians came out of the crisis unscathed and to the surprise of many; they have qualified for the Champions League for their first time ever.
Things are looking bright for Malaga at the moment. In fact they have even advanced to the second-round of Europe’s most prestigious competition undefeated.
That is why Toulalan had a lot of doubts about his future and the club’s back in the summer.
“I had serious doubts that I could continue here.”
The defensive-midfielder revealed that his doubts were no longer existent after he had talks with the Chilean Tactician.
“But when I spoke to Pellegrini all doubts disappeared completely.”
The Frenchman man talked about what was going on back then and how in retrospect he believes Pellegrini had saved the future of this back.
“We talked and listened to offers from other clubs, but once I talked to the Coach everything was solved. Without Pellegrini, the team and the club would be dead.”
Meanwhile, the former Lyon player also shared his experience with the injury he sustained. He admitted that it was a difficult period for him, but with the support of everyone at the club, he has recovered well now.
“When you’re injured it’s tough, but with the support of teammates, technicians and doctors, I recovered well.”
The 29-year-old had words of praise for his fellow teammate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ignacio-Camacho-c16660, and is surely impressed with the performance of the player and how he has taken responsibility on the field.
“This year http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Camacho-c8276 is having continuity and he is one of the revelations of this Malaga. He has assumed a great responsibility.”
Toulalan is however not pleased with the state of La Rosaleda. He described it as disaster.
“The state of the pitch is a disaster.”
Malaga are currently in good form in the Primera Division and as a result of that are on the much coveted fourth spot for the Champions League.
