Without buying a water softener, how can I avoid hard water deposits on my dishes?

I've found that a second cycle using vinegar generally works, but that's quite wasteful of water. I'd like to add vinegar to just the rinse cycle, but I don't have time to stick around and wait for the right timing.

  1. Hi I'm Barry Scott and i'm here to tell you about cilet bang, bang and the dirt is gone!

  2. There are tablets you can buy that serve to prevent "spotting" on dishes and glassware after the rinse cycle. You can find them in the store near the dishwashing soap.

  3. Use a rinse agent, such as Jet Dry.  There should be a place on the door of your dishwasher for adding it.

  4. buy a water softener

  5. I really like the Electrosol tablets with the Jet Dry ball. They work really well keeping the water spots away.
