Question:

Without joining a system, how did you successfully make it through losing the first ten pounds of weight?

  1. Drink lots of water and eat fresh fruit, salads and lean cuisines or smart ones for lunch and meat and veggies and salad for dinner.

  3. When I first started losing weight I was eating and drinking very badly, so I started by making small steps. I started exercising (treadmill walking) for 30 minutes a day three times a week. I didn't change my eating habits a whole lot, instead I just make little healthy tweaks here and there.

    I started eating sandwiches at home instead of grabbing fast food, or if i did grab fast food i'd get just a grilled chicken sandwich without mayo (unless it was at chickfila i'd ask them for a pack of lite mayo.). I cut out sodas except the occasional diet soda which I have only in mixed drinks on nights out with my friends. I still allowed myself the junk food I liked, I just stopped buy big bags of chips or whatever and bought the 100 calorie packs instead.

    if you have a signifigant amount of weight to lose (I lost 45lbs nearly so far) just little stuff like that makes a big difference in the beginning, its when you get down to the end (last few pounds, amount varies from person to person, in my case it's 20 ) that's really hard i've found =/ then you have to really really concentrate and change stuff.
