do you think it's somewhat disappointing to hear a speech from your candidate that wasn't written by them?

Sure, they sound great, but how can we form an accurate opinion when it's not their own thoughts, beliefs, or feelings?

  1. You're absolutely right.

  2. ya know, i have always wondered about that.  does the candidate sit there with the speech writer?  is there a proof-reading or something?  if not, how does the candidate know he/she will not stick a foot in their mouth?  this does concern me.

  3. its what we call a stooge. watch the conservatives bite the bait.

  4. I would be upset if a speech of a candidate didn't come from the candidate.

  5. I dont think many candidates go up to the podium without reading the entire speech first and approving of it sweetheart.

either way you look at it, it is their thoughts, beliefs and feelings. even though it isnt necessarily their own words
