Without sachin India cannot win ODI (50 Overs) Finals ? Yes, No, Comment?

Sachin not only senior player of the Indian team. But also experience player. Without sachin you cannot win ODI 50 Overs finals. Because he anchor the innings at one end and youngster can play their natural game without fear and tension. Indian won against australia because of sachin only. One thing is very clear you cannot judge this youngsters performance in 20-20 with 50 Overs match. 50 Overs and Test Matches are totally different. The team need experienced player like sachin and dravid. So you cannot (bcci) avoid them or drop them in ODI finals and test matches. Now BCCI Selectors should learn from their past mistakes and include dravid and sachin in the ODI Squad. Sourav also consider for selection in ODI. Because his average in last 10 matches is over 40 runs per match. It shows he is in excellent form. But Bcci selectors intentionally drop sourav from the team this is very sad. You cannot treat our senior players in this manner.

I don't think so, Sachin could have changed the course of the match single handed.  Indians are always known for their inconsistency.  They play well once in a while and for this win, when are pampered, it gets on to their head and will not perform for quite some time, before some drastic measures like dropping takes place and every one look for cementing their place in the team.

We had sachin, ganguly, dravid in all the last 3 world cups, we have not even won and 25 years have passed by.  As long as its Indian cricket, individually there are some great cricketers, but when its a team, they lack the professional display.

So it'd not have made any difference, if Sachin was there in 50 over finals.

No doubt that Sachin is a little master, however if the Indian team depends on him ONLY....they are wrong.

They need to manage their performance, performance of each individual player. That is the problem with teams such as Pak, Ind and Sri Lanka, they depend on one player. I know it is a hard fact but the cricket boards need to address this issue.

Lastly, yeah Tendulkar can be a match winner but not always. He can coach other players.
