This is more like asking people on here to do some quick math and ranking these guys on a points/dollar basis.  Selke winners that score almost 100 points in a season are more valuable than a guy who just...scores.

All of the guys listed above are great two-way forwards (except maybe lecavalier), but there are still more intangible aspects of each player's game that really can't be portrayed with point production.  If you're not looking for an accurate reflection of a player's worth and are just looking for a quick calculation then I guess your question is valid but I don't think it's really a great way to measure talent.

I would check nhl numbers and get their contracts but I'm sure somebody already did it.

Well...I don't have the numbers but I think Alfredsson's salary should be more in line with a few of the others. He's underpaid is respect to others.

Each of these players is paid accordingly. Their salaries are based on a number of factors. One of which is point scoring. Need to team chemistry, Market value, attendence draw, etc.

If point production were the only matter than there would be no reason for competition. All would be paid according to formula.
