Witnessed any random acts of kindness lately?

Sometimes you see a stranger doing something that makes you feel there is hope for mankind after all. I'm a bus driver in Tampa. Yesterday on my route I saw a tow truck with lights flashing sitting in the middle of a road. I couldn't figure out why till I passed him and saw a big tortoise crossing the road in front of him. He stayed put untill the tortoise was safely across. I was going to give him a thumbs up but couldn't get my window open fast enough, so I'm going to send a letter or email to his work place with a compliment. Have you witnessed any acts of kindness by strangers lately?

I witnessed a similar act a few months ago.  A turtle was crossing the road and all lanes of traffic came to a complete stop.  Then, a lady jumped out of her car, picked the turtle up off of the road and started carrying the animal to safety.

However, what sticks in my mind is what happened next.  The turtle peed on the woman as she was carrying it.

That didn't deter her at all.  She continued to the side of the road, placed the turtle down and then returned to her car.
