Wizard Of Oz Characters?

I watched the Return Of Oz with my cousin two days ago and it inspired me to want to write a third part to the whole Oz story. I wanted to put dorothy in a more modern time, but I have all that settled, what I need is characters!

I really liked Jack Pumpkinhead, does anyone have any good ideas for new characters in my oz story? I am very open minded! :D Thanks!

Yes. The Good and the Bad Witch. One is a Fundie Christian and the other is a Metaphysical healer with psychic abilities.

So the question is which one is the Good Witch and which one is the Bad Witch.

The Oz series by Frank L. Baum consists of at least 8 books already. Add to that The Little Wizard series and the total is 15. If you intend on using Oz as a basis for your stories, you'll probably need permission from the authors estate and/or the publisher.

Third part?!  Return to Oz and the original Wizard of Oz movie were not made by the same people!  Return to Oz is based on books TWO and THREE of L. Frank Baum's original Oz series, which consisted of FOURTEEN books.  Since then (over a hundred years) there have been hundreds of knock-off SERIES.  They still come out, and most are not commercially reviewed at all.  Wicked is the only recent success.  You'd need a huge name to work with that.
