Wladimir Klitschko: Toe is an excuse as David Haye was checked by medical commissioner – Boxing news
The WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has responded to the statements which the former WBA world heavyweight champion David Haye has been making lately.
The Hayemaker, Haye, who recently lost his WBA world heavyweight title in a unification bout for the heavyweight titles against Wladimir Klitschko, afterwards claimed his toe was injured which did not let him land his Hayemaker.
However, the 6 ft 6.5” Ukrainian giant does not agree with the 30-year-old brash Londoner, Haye.
Klitschko told the media Haye was checked by the medical commissioner ahead of the bout and now he is just being a sore loser. Klitschko also revealed he advised his British rival, Haye, not to discuss his toe with anyone, as people would think he is just making a lame excuse.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “It's an excuse. The man was checked before by a medical commissioner. He was cleared and ready to fight. If you are in the ring, there are no excuses. It's called sore loser. And I warned David Haye, don't do that [discuss the toe].”
Dr. Steelhammer, Klitschko, who secured a unanimous points’ victory over Haye, stated if Haye had won the fight, he would have never said anything but now when he has lost, he is making excuses.
In end Klitschko, who has won 56 of his 59 fights including 49 by the way of a knockout, remarked nobody believes Haye and no one is really bothered about what he is saying.
He said, “If something happened to you, shut the h**l up and don't say anything because it's going to hit right back to you.”
“If he would have won the fight, everything would have been good. But suddenly now he's looking for excuses. Who knows what really happened with his toe? I don't really care and nobody else cares,” Klitschko added.
Haye is desperate for a rematch against Wladimir as he wants to avenge his defeat. However let’s see if Wladimir gives him another chance to fight him.
