Wladimir Klitschko annoyed at David Haye’s promotional tactics for their upcoming bout – Boxing news
The International Boxing Federation, International Boxing Organisation, World Boxing Organisation and Ring Magazine Champion, Wladimir Klitschko, has expressed his discontentment over the tactics which are being used by the World Boxing Association’s World
Heavyweight Champion, David Haye for their upcoming bout.
The 30-year-old Londoner Haye made a t-shirt a few weeks back in which he is knocking Klitschko’s head off with a punch. He also made a lot of posters of the same picture ahead of his unification bout of the heavyweight titles against Wladimir Klitschko,
which will be held on July 2, 2011 at the Hamburg Arena in Germany in front of over 50,000 people.
Dr. Steelhammer, Klitschko, however is very annoyed with Haye’s tactics. The 35-year-old told the media there are certain things which one should never cross no matter what. The 6 ft 6.5” Ukrainian giant stated Haye only knows how to bark and he only does
that when he is not around.
“Whose parents would love to see their son's head cut off?” Klitschko said. “There are certain things that you can't do. There are certain lines that you cannot cross. All he does is bark when I'm not around. The dude is not really impressive to me when
I see him in person. But he barks when he doesn't see me.”
Klitschko, who has 55 of his 58 fights including 49 by the way of a knockout, continued by saying Haye is only creative when he does not see him.
In the end, Klitschko commented the Hayemaker, Haye, is flying up in the air as he has somehow got a little success but on July 2, he will put him down.
“He's very creative when he doesn't see me. He doesn't give me any respect whatsoever. He has had a little success and won a title. Now he's flying high. I'm going to put him back on his feet and on the ground. I'm not scaring or threatening him. It's reality,”
said Klitschko.
