Wladimir Klitschko says David Haye has no chance against his brother Vitali – Boxing news
Wladimir Klitschko, who is the current WBA (Super), WBO Super, IBF and Ring Magazine Champion, has claimed former World Boxing Association Heavyweight Champion, David Haye, stands no chance against his brother Vitali, who currently holds the World Boxing
Council heavyweight championship belt.
There are many rumours going on these days that Haye is planning to make a comeback to fight Vitali in 2012 and Wladimir thinks the Brit has absolutely no chance against his brother.
Wladimir told Daily Mirror, “I hope he does come back and he can still beat lots of people in this division – but he has no chance of beating my brother. Vitali hits harder than me and is the stronger of the two of us.”
Haye, who is most commonly known as the Hayemaker, fought Dr. Steelhammer, Wladimir, in a much anticipated unification bout for the heavyweight titles on July 2, 2011 at the Hamburg’s Football Stadium in Germany.
The 31-year-old brash Londoner, Haye, made many promises prior to the bout but on the fight night, he suffered a humiliating defeat, as he lost to the 6 ft 6 in Ukrainian giant via unanimous point’s decision.
Therefore, Wladimir admitted Haye wants to redeem himself as he reckons Haye has disappointed a lot of his fans in a bout which was one of the biggest in recent British history but on the same note Wladimir remarked his brother Vitali will win Haye via a
knockout, if the two ever meet in the ring.
Wladimir insisted, “I think that David Haye got a really good reality check with me and now he is going to be a better person. He disappointed a lot of people in his own country and that makes him really upset. We have different styles but I am pretty sure
Vitali will knock him out and he can do better than me against David.”
Haye has always said he will make a comeback if he gets a chance against any Klitschko because he desperately wants to avenge his defeat. So let’s see if Haye really gets a chance again to be under the big lights.
