After watching the Klitschko fight, I wasn't impressed! I'd love to see Klitschko fight someone who puts up a lot of pressure. Joe's given away a lot of size...what do you think?

  1. I think Klitschko doesn't even deserve the right to have his name mentioned in the same sentance as Joe.

He's a big dope that gives boxing a bad name with bloody p**s poor performances like this.

All you pro Klitschko idiots need to get some fight footage of Ali, Holmes, Frazier, Norton, Foreman etc... and see how TRUEchampions fight. A big dork hiding behind a jab and not throwing a right hand til the 6th round is NOT boxing!!! It's bollocks!!!

  2. joe would walk him down. his opponent tonight seemed afraid to engage.

  3. don't be impressed with the size of todays figthters. The 1900's-1940's actually had as big guys as we do, due to them having so many more guys boxing.

The reason you don't hear of them is they rarely made it out of the middle ranks.

Because 185-220lbs is the best weight, and the weight all the greats were.

Frazier is one of them. Klitchkso is part of a slump decade that is barely able to beat old men from the 1990's who were themselves conquered by a fat old man from the 1970's,geortge foreman in 1994.

I think if he were back in the 70's kltichsko's highlight would be as a warm up sparring partner in Joe's gym.

  4. Wladimir Klitschko

  5. Joe Frazier was an animal who fought legends, Vladimir is a is a juiced up, Kentucky bread race horse, a trained robot, Russian solder, lets see someone like gorge Foreman( in his prime of course ) against Klitschko, or an 89 Iron Mike Tyson!!!!!! Say no more. Frazier, Frazier, klitschko goes down!!!!

  6. The first left hook Frazier would have landed would have sent Wlad's head federal express back to the Ukraine or his brothers pool in Bel Air.

  7. people will never give klitschko credit, just because hes not a trash talking american boxer like most others, im american and i give him credit. 50 wins with 44 knockouts is quite good.

  8. One boxing pundit said the only reason we know about the greatness of Muhammad Ali is because of the equivalent greatness of Joe Frazier.

Wow!  I had never thought of that, but I believe it's true.

I think Frazier would do to Klitschko's body what he did to Ali's in their first fight, but Klitschko couldn't absorb it as well as Ali did.  Then Frazier would go upstairs and either get a KO or a TKO, the latter possibly with a cut.

A savage body attack will not only bring a fighter's hands down, but also his head.  Joe is too fast for Wladimir and I can't see the big guy making a fight very competitive.

Sixus - Thanks for your insight on the best weight range for heavyweights.  If 185 to 220 pounds is the best weight, that sort of throws cold water on the argument of those who say Marciano, Dempsey and others were too small to be great.

  9. Wladimir wouldn't make it out of the first round, Frazier would walk through that jab and shatter Klitschko's jaw like it was made out of egg shell.

Frazier by KO in less than a minute of the first round.

Random Hero you are right, 50 wins and 44 KO is good.  Frazier was much better than just good, and Wladimir knocking over 44 tomato cans doesn't even equal the beating Forman gave Frazier from a historical perspective, quantity doesn't equal quality.  Yeah, I respect Wladimir for getting up three times against Sam Peters, but get real, you know in your heart Peters should have got that decision.

  10. DOWN GOES KLITSCHKO, DOWN GOES KLITSCHKO, DOWN GOES KLITSCHKO !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    frazier in 3 rounds.

  11. Smokin' Joe by KO.
